We care about your animals as much as we do our own.
The medallions are made of 100% biodegradable paper clay and finished with acrylic paint and varnish.
They are intended for decorative purposes only. Please do not give them to your pet as a toy.
All of the papers we use for the Pet Blessing Medallion cards are environmentally conscious Green Seal Certified, ensuring a minimum of 30% post consumer recycled paper.

Baby Pet Medallions
Our Pet Blessing Medallions are approximately 2˝” square and are handmade from paper clay. Once dried, each medallion is hand painted and decorated. Each is then tied with a coordinating ribbon and has a small quartz crystal attached to it.
In gemology, quartz is known as a protective stone used universally as a symbol of strength and healing. Native Americans still put quartz crystals in new babies’ cradles for protection.
Each medallion comes with a pet blessing prayer or poem.
The inspiration for these medallions is St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and the environment. People everywhere celebrate the feast of St. Francis on October 4 by blessing their pets in the spirit of this saint. We hope that these medallion serve as a reminder of the love and blessings our little creatures bestow on us all year long.
